debris from the urban environment and reassembles them in unfamiliar ways. By juxtaposing neon lights, illuminated advertisements, shop signs, he provides new and unexpected meanings by bringing everyday reality into art.

During his residency at Current Plans, Prosper will create a new body of work inspired by the streets and nightlife of Hong Kong. Sculptures will emerge from walks through the flea markets, mountains, and beaches that make up the city.

The residency is supported by the artists' foundation, the Friends of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, and the French Consulate in Hong Kong and Macau.
